Operations Leader

Despina Hopkins, executive partner at Bluetree, began her role with Community Technologies in June 2020 as a leader of its operations team.

Despina is a healthcare executive with more than 20 years of experience leading and managing vision, strategy and operations for hospital technology departments, applications, nursing departments and ambulatory clinics. Before joining Bluetree, a sister company to Community Technologies, she worked at Cedars-Sinai where she led applications teams for multiple Epic implementations and later held the role of site CIO, trailblazing a new path for their first acquired hospital.  Prior to Cedars, she was the regional applications manager for Adventist Health hospitals in Southern California. Despina is a servant leader who is dedicated to delivering solutions to improve the clinician and patient experience across the healthcare continuum. She is an active fellow member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) community where she served as president and board member of the southern California chapter and volunteered her time on several HIMSS national committees.
